Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney lost almost $1 million

Another footballer who enjoys playing top blackjack casinos is Wayne Rooney, a legend of English football. He has been spotted at the Manchester casinos on a regular basis, as he has often expressed his love for the tables in Vegas.

Blackjack and Roulette

Blackjack and Roulette are casino games that have Wayne Rooney's eye. But just because he likes these types of games does not mean he disdains trying something new. One can't exclude Rooney from other casino games. He loves playing casino games as much as he enjoys playing football!

Wayne Rooney broke the bank-for-$500,000-$938,883-while gambling all night, spending the last two hours playing roulette and blackjack.

The 31-year-old football star reached Manchester's 235 Casino alone just after midnight and spent two hours hopping between the two tables. Eyewitnesses claimed he drank beers during his stay.

According to UK Daily Mail sources, at one odd time where Rooney have betted far aggressively, he was said to be "passionately sublime" and "was the only one living in a world of told tales". (Note: the rewriting is done with multiple other options so that the theoretical effort is understood.)

The casino trip reportedly came after United's Europa League home win over FC Rostov on March 16.

The star from the United team, serving as the face of the social poker betting app of his team, wasn't able to play the match due to an injury and instead was relegated to the further box at Old Trafford.

He arrived to the casino a little after midnight and left the place at about 2am. A witness stated that Rooney was losing "thousands a minute and hundreds of thousands an hour."

One witness said: "Wayne was out of control; he was laying down chips according to massive bets.

The statement conveys that he was completely sober although consuming copious amounts of beer. He was more interested in the gambling than the drinking.

He was betting heavily on red at the roulette table-which he felt was appropriate-and making longshot wagers on single lucky numbers. He kept losing, which just made him place bigger bets.

Onlookers appeared to be "stunned" when they watched gambling-mad Rooney go after all his losses, allegedly getting slightly VIP treatment in the casino.

"Great swearing to himself, it was as if he was not in the real world - fixated with the tables and all the machines around them," the witness said. "He was looking really glum towards the end."

It has been claimed that Rooney's wife, Coleen, was away with their sons, the seven-year-old Kai, the three-year-old Klay, and the one-year-old Kit, during Wayne's gambling spree.

Daily Mail Online has contacted Rooney's agency for comment.

The England star has a history of gambling dating back to his teenage years at Everton.

He acknowledges in his autobiography that Coleen had been livid when he lost £50,000 (approximately $93,888) through gambling earlier in his career.

22 years ago he lost £65,000 ($122,054) in a two-hour gambling spree at 235 Casino.

20 years ago, Rooney revealed that he had gotten himself into £700,000 ($1.3 million) in debt through gambling in the English dressing room.

Rooney's account at the Manchester casino is believed to be linked to a credit card.

Another famous casino clientele includes Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs, Sisters Kym Marsh and Michelle Keegan, and other former football players.
