Pledge Gallery

The pledge gallery is the visual half of the bid campaign: footage of supporters, school sides and club teams signing up to the pledge the programme was collecting around the city.

It is kept because campaign film is the first thing to vanish once a bid ends, and because this is the one part of a bid that is genuinely local — a crowd that turns up to be counted. The clips play from the original channel, so what survives is what the campaign itself put out. The pledge wording and the rest of the material are on the pledge page.
