Haris Charalambous Junior International Tournament

Fixtures and the calendarPublished 18 December 2009

A junior tournament named after a player who came through the city’s own youth programme is a memorial as much as a competition, and it is the only basketball entry the diary carries.

Worth keeping for that reason alone: a city archive that logs its cycling and football properly often has nothing at all on the sports that run out of a single hall. The tournament’s home court is not in the venues index, which says something about how that index was built.
