A national championship held a few months before a continental one in the same city is really a trial run, and the entry below says so in as many words: the titles matter, and the players are also preparing for what comes next.

That pairing is the reason both events show up in this archive. The continental meeting has its own listing at European Badminton Championships.

Watch the cream of the country's badminton talent competing for the title of National Champion. Emerging players will take on the elite stars who are not only competing for the coveted National titles but are also preparing for the forthcoming European Individual Championships which will be held in Manchester (13-18 April, MEN Arena).
